How to tell

Outbound links that carry affiliate tracking are marked rel="sponsored" and pass through our /go/ redirect. Where a product has no affiliate program, or we are not in it, the same button sends you to the company's normal website.

What it does not affect

• Search ranking and category ordering are computed from the data, never from commercial relationships.
• Whether a product is listed at all. We list products because they belong in the index.
• Recorded prices, plan details or verification dates.
• The comparison verdicts, which are generated from database columns.

Sponsored placements are different

Paid placements are separate from affiliate links, are visually labelled Sponsored, and sit outside the ranked index. See the Advertising Policy.
